Welcome to Narrain Patoral Company, a legacy of agricultural excellence rooted in the rich soils of Oaklands, NSW. As a sixth-generation family-run grain farm, we are deeply committed to upholding the traditions of hard work, integrity, and innovation that have been passed down through generations.
First, some clarity. Narrain Grain and all its social media presence is just that, the social media side of our company Narrain Pastoral Company. At the helm of Narrain Pastoral Company stand three dedicated stewards of the land: Richard Nixon, our patriarch whose vision and dedication have shaped our farm's legacy; James Nixon, my esteemed brother and partner, whose expertise in modern farming practices drives our operational excellence; and myself, Andrew Nixon, proud to carry forward our family's heritage while embracing the latest advancements in sustainable agriculture. Our farms are based at Oaklands but extend towards Savernake and Berrigan areas.
Our journey began generations ago, with a humble plot of land and a steadfast commitment to nurturing both crops and community. Today, Narrain Pastoral Company encompasses acres of meticulously tended fields, where we cultivate premium grains using cutting-edge techniques and a deep respect for the land.

Behind every successful farmer is a supportive family, and we are no exception. Alongside Richard, James, and myself, Narrain Pastoral Company is blessed with the unwavering support of our loving wives. James' wife, Tamara, is office manager for Narrain Pastoral Company whilst being raising 3 teenage children. My wife, Samantha Nixon, is not just a partner but a cornerstone of our family, alongside our four wonderful children. She is head of marketing and mechandise for our social media enterprise Narrain Grain.
Last year, our family faced a profound loss with the passing of Ann Nixon, Richard's beloved wife and our dear mother. While her physical presence may be missed, her spirit and legacy continue to inspire us every day as we carry forward the values she instilled in us.
